Week 6 On my week off I played games with friends online, I met new people on the games I played and I also took apart my computer and cleaned out all the parts to get rid of dust in the computer to help the heat problem I have with my processor, after I rebuilt my computer and got it running I completely reformatted my computer allowing everything to be deleted and this got rid of my problem of storage and not having enough, I then installed windows and only downloaded the essentials I need for my gaming PC allowing it to be more efficient and run smoother increasing my gaming experience. Having the knowledge of building and reformatting computers will help me in the future of game development as I will be using a lot of IT in my work.

Week 5 I have caught up with all my college work before any deadlines were overrun, I have done my work to high quality and not to the bear minimum I need to pass. This shows I am punctual as I finish before deadlines without procrastinating so my work is still at a high quality. This will help me in the future as my job will require me to work with deadlines and produce high quality work consistently because I will need to work in conjunction with other departments of companies and they would need my work to continue with their own.

Week 4 Last week I put all my new models together now I am going to paint them, spraying them first to get a smooth even layer that helps the paint using a brush allow to stick better and doesn't run down the model. I use water to thin the paint and pallet to place paint on so I can avoid using paint straight out of the paint pots as it would be too thick. I use these techniques to improve my quality of my model this will help me develop techniques with my work improving quality and helping me get into a routine of doing my work at high quality. Painting all my models has taken up hundreds of hours as each models takes up 4-5 hours depending on the size of the model, the larger models take up to 8-10 hours. This shows I have commitment when I am doing things I am passionate about and shows my commitment to projects. Having my models painted means I can have games using my models allowing me to travel to Game Workshop stores and have games with friends or other hobbyists in the l...

Week 3 I did a lot of modelling as I got a new starter set for my War-hammer so I can build my collection of my army. this opens me up to learning skills and patience with practical models having to cut out small parts and details and having to glue them all together. War-hammer models are good because they allow for a lot of freedom when modelling which allows for a lot of creativity and allows you to add personality to your models. Out of all my models I have over 100 this has taken over 40+ hours so I have experience working with long lasting projects which I would come across a lot in game development. War-hammer has many digital games not just on the table top and when I play these it gives me ideas on how I can use real life examples to use games to bring what people are passionate about to life and allow them to play with those characters and hobby.

Week 2 I met up with friends to play a game called Dungeons and Dragons which allows a lot of creativity as we as a group make the world and the monsters we face as well as our characters and backstory, this helps me be more creative which will help me in a future job of game design when I need to come up with fresh ideas for the company I will work for. It will also help me in building my social skills as I am with people and communicating regularly which is related to game development which helps me build skills for my future career I want by making a universe and characters for a game for my friends, this is the best practise and experience I can get for my desired job I also get feed back from my friends allowing me to improve and I also collaborate with friends to build the world taking in ideas and sharing my own.

Week 1 Working on communication skills, I did this buy spending more time with people and friends to make me talk more, I usually stay in so I went out more to improve social skills and confidence when talking to others, this helps me because my main issue with talking to people is anxiety, I also spoke to more people in college and stopped myself from closed in with no one to speak to. I often meet new people online and speak to them about the games I play with them which allows for new friendships with people of all personalities and backgrounds making me better at talking with people I don't know, this would help me in the future by building my confidence and allow me to be more confidence speaking to people I am not comfortable with like if I were to hold a meeting in a future job and show off my ideas.
